Lewis Choo Li Wei (b. 1990) is an emerging artist graduated with  who recently completed his Bachelor’s Degree in FineArts at LASALLE College of the Arts, He was previously trained in mechatronics for 4 years. Which has helped him in his practice in the technical aspect.

By referencing extensively from Chinese and Japanese folklore and cultures, it inspires him in his specialization of sculpturing and wood blocking.

Through the usage of modern equipment and technologies within his work, Choo’s explores contemporary issues within society by questioning our role and relationship with them.
