Lewis Choo Li Wei (b. 1990) is an emerging artist graduated with  who recently completed his Bachelor’s Degree in FineArts at LASALLE College of the Arts, He was previously trained in mechatronics for 4 years. Which has helped him in his practice in the technical aspect. Choo’s work revolve around topic of morality , depicting animals and human in various acts of moral and modesty. He references extensively from Chinese and Japanese folktale and cultures. Through the usage of modern equipment and technologies within his work, Choo’s explores contemporary issues within society by questioning our role and relationship with them. Currently, he is exploring the fundamentals of sculpture and woodblock.
